TetaVi, a pioneer in developing an end-to-end volumetric video capture system, demonstrated its portable volumetric capture studio at the Samsung Developers Conference (SDC 2019). TetaVi was the exclusive volumetric brand at the event and more than 250 people, including a creative theater production, experienced TetaVi’s volumetric video capture studio where they instantly became holograms.
On stage at the SDC, which took place in San Jose, CA, TetaVi CEO, Gilad Talmon, discussed the importance of Volumetric Video Capture in relation to worldwide distribution of 5G.
Dean Takahashi from VentureBeat writes “I got a taste of the technology at Samsung’s recent developer conference in San Jose, California, where Samsung XR general manager Paul Kim showed me some demos. In the Samsung XR booth, Tetavi captured my body using volumetric technology and let me view myself in 360 degrees on a Samsung smartphone.”
